The ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Education Agency produces a variety of financial reports throughout the year. These reports provide information on school district financial compliance, school district budgets and spending, state funding, TEA expenditures, and the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Permanent School Fund.Â
Financial Integrity Rating System of ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥Â
These reports provide an overview of each district's financial accountability status known as the School Financial Integrity Rating System of ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ (FIRST) rating. The state's school financial accountability rating system ensures that ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ public schools are held accountable for the quality of their financial management practices and that they improve those practices.

The , a multi-billion dollar education endowment, was created with a $2,000,000 appropriation by the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ Legislature in 1854 expressly for the benefit of the ÄÌÌÇÖ±²¥ public schools.
